How do I log into Moodle for the first time?

Trine University has instituted Active Directory (AD) Authentication to help minimize the number of different usernames and passwords needed to access important information.  You should use your university network user ID and password to authenticate with MyPortal, e-mail and Moodle.  When you change a password on MyPortal - the change will take affect for the majority of university resources.                 

1.     Log into Moodle at:

2.    Your username and password should now be the same as your network ID (what you use to login to library resources and on-campus computers and wireless).  Your username is the same as your Trine email username - Everything before the @. 

If you enrolled before Fall 2011, your username is first initial of first name and first initial of middle name and your full last name (e.g., Jon James Smith = jjsmith). 

If you enrolled after Fall 2011, add the last two digits of the year that you enrolled after your last name. (e.g., jjsmith11 or jjsmith12 or jjsmith13, etc.)
