Q. What is the domain name for Trine's VPN?

Answer

The VPN can only be used by Trine-issued laptop. You must already be connected to a stable internet connection.

From the start menu, select Cisco Anyconnect VPN client

You will see a prompt in the bottom right of your laptop screen and it may need you to enter the address: remote.trine.edu

You will be prompted to enter your Faculty or Staff user ID and password. As long as you have stable internet connection and have the correct credentials it will allow your connection. If you have incorrect information or are not authorized, or are attempting from a non Trione-Issued laptop then it will not work and will alert you.

Please wait about a minute (or longer depending on internet connection speed) for your network drives to connect if they were previously disconnected. You may need to reboot your device if after several minutes the drives to do not reconnect.
