Q. How do I place a hold for a library item?
You can and are encouraged to place your own holds through the library catalog. The following directions detail this process. After identifying the item you want in the library’s Research Hub, select the Place Hold option on the right-hand side of the page.
After selecting Place Hold, you will be asked to enter your library account information. The username and password are the same that you would use to log into your Trine email account, MyPortal, or other Trine University services.
Next, you will see a screen asking for their pick-up location. Please select your desire pick-up location and select Submit.

If you go then to My Library Account (link is available along the top of the page), you can see the hold you just placed under the Holds tab.
