Q. What is the difference between the two Biology books?

I am buying my books for the Fall, and I need a Biology book. One costs more than the other. Why is that, and which is most preferred to buy?

You didn't state which BIO course you are in, so I can't speak specifically to your situation.  Generrally, when there is a choice of two items with vastly different prices it is because of the binding and/or the presence of an Access Code.

The most expenesive choice will be a Bound book, (frequently Hardcover).  Less expensive is the Loose-Leaf version of the Text (you may see LL in the title description).  Depending on the course, these may or may not require an Access Code.

For courses that do require an Access Code, we frequently sell that as a Standalone item and it will be the least expensive option.  When you are signed in to the Access Code, a digital version of the book is available.

You can also reach out to the Bookstore via our Contact Us link on the website for your Course Material related questions.
